Pope Francis has been seriously interesting as an outspoken spiritual public figure since rising to his current position. But his comments, more and more articulately expressing the moral underpinnings of an interdependent and progressive worldview, just keep getting better. Today he topped them all, taking on the world economic system. It starts with: "How can it be that it is not a news item when an elderly homeless person dies of exposure, but it is news when the stock market loses two points? This is a case of exclusion.
