It’s only about 3 weeks from the release of The Road Home: A Contemporary Exploration of the Buddhist Path (4/21/2015 – preorder info here).
The NYC release party with Sharon Salzberg, Dan Harris and other guests on Tuesday April 21 at abc home is almost SOLD-OUT (which is crazy, thank you so much to everyone who already got tickets), and the book tour begins in Washington DC on April 30.
This Wednesday evening I have been invited to lead the Wednesday Monthly Dharma gathering via my friend Susan Piver’s Open Heart Project. The talk is online, free, and open to all, and will give me the opportunity to lay out some of the ideas in my new book from FSG – North Point Press. If you are near the internet Wednesday at 7pm Eastern, please join!
On a sadder note, tonight, 3/30, I am teaching my final Monday Night Class at The Interdependence Project for a while. Monday nights at IDP have been a tradition for a number of years, but I am relinquishing my time there to teach online classes for IDP during my book tour. We are having a pizza party, so I hope those of you who can get to the East Village this evening can join us!
Thanks again for all the interest people have expressed in The Road Home and I hope to see everyone very soon.
