Study Wherever You Are – September Course @IDP –
In Search of the Self
w Special Guest Teacher David Nichtern!

The Interdependence Project offers the new and improved opportunity to study online or in person with a great, wide-spread community. Ethan will be teaching online this fall, and his father, renowned Buddhist teacher David Nichtern will be joining for several guest lectures! Train your mind and open your heart this fall. Starts Monday, September 17

The key to understanding the cause of our pain, from the standpoint of traditional Buddhism, is to develop an accurate and meaningful understanding of our own identity. Yet the notion of “I”, self, or ego are sometimes thrown around haphazardly, without a precision of meaning. This course will examine the many Buddhist philosophies that underlie the understanding of both self and egolessness, as well as how we can actually bring the experience of egolessness into everyday life.
